The University of Delaware's HealthyU Employee Wellness Program invites all UD faculty and staff to come out and join the fun. The spring volleyball league will span seven weeks and will begin the week of Feb. 21.

Games will take place on Wednesdays from 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Gym 1 in the Carpenter Sports Building.

“Employees really seemed to enjoy the friendly competition during Winter Session," said Megan Grau, a HealthyU graduate assistant. “We were thrilled at the turnout and are hopeful that we can expand and offer other activities.”

Registration is under way and will remain open until Tuesday, Feb. 22. The cost to participate is $14 Wellness Dollars. Teams need a minimum of six people on their roster, but are able to play with four. There is no cap on the maximum number of team members, although only six can play at one time.

When registering, you can opt to create a team, join an existing team or have the HealthyU staff place you on a team. Register online at the Healthy U Employee Wellness website or call the HealthyU office at 831-8388 for more information.
