10:07 a.m., Aug. 16, 2010----Newark Police have charged William Q. Murphy, 21, of Newark, with possession with intent to deliver narcotics, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for keeping controlled substances, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges stem from an investigation into activity on Radcliffe Drive in the Nottingham Green neighborhood in west Newark. Police executed a search warrant and found nearly 700 grams of marijuana, more than 30 Oxycodone pills, .32 caliber ammunition and materials used for the packaging of illegal drugs.

Murphy was released after posting $3,200 secured bail.
