11:22 a.m., Oct. 9, 2009----The University of Delaware Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating Jesse James Manwaring, 30.
University Police have arrest warrants for Manwaring for his role in a theft from a UD student. UD police allege that Manwaring, along with two accomplices, met a UD student at a local bar and offered him a ride home. While at the student's residence hall room, it is alleged that Manwaring and one of the accomplices took property exceeding $1,500, belonging to the student and his roommate.
UDPD Detectives, along with New Castle County Police Operation Safe Street team, have arrested the two other subjects involved.
Manwaring, who resides in the Milltown area of Kirkwood Highway, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone knowing Manwaring's location should contact UD Police at (302) 831-2222, or call 911 for their local police agency.
