5:44 p.m., Nov. 6, 2009----Seth Jay Kahn, 22, who earned his bachelor of fine arts degree at UD in 2008, died Nov. 4, 2009, after being struck by a bus in New York City.
At UD, he was a member of the Rho Deuteron Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi, and he was active in E-52 Student Theatre. He also participated in a study abroad trip to Antarctica and Argentina. He was continuing his studies in the area of toy design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
Fellow alumnus Andrew Mitchell said, “I and plenty of other E-52 alumni will remember Seth as a great person with a wonderful smile and a deep heart who was a dedicated and great member of the organization.”
Mr. Kahn was a 2004 graduate of Mamaroneck, N.Y., High School.
He is survived by his parents, Debbie Marks-Kahn and Harold Kahn, and other family members.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, at Temple Israel of New Rochelle, 1000 Pinebrook Blvd., New Rochelle, N.Y.
