12:45 p.m., April 13, 2010----The University of Delaware Library and the Delaware Art Museum announce a lecture, “The Music of Dante Gabriel Rossetti,” by Karen Yuen, University of Delaware Library and Delaware Art Museum 2010 Fellow in Pre-Raphaelite Studies, scheduled for Tuesday, April 20, at 4 p.m. at the Delaware Art Museum, 2301 Kentmere Parkway, Wilmington, Del.

Yuen, an independent scholar from Vancouver, British Columbia, is the 2010 University of Delaware Library Delaware Art Museum Pre-Raphaelite Studies Fellow. She will speak about her research on the music of Rossetti.

She has written widely on Victorian and Edwardian literature; the Pre-Raphaelites and Pre-Raphaelitism; connections between literature, music, and visual art; and women's writing and masculinities.

The University of Delaware Library Delaware Art Museum joint Fellowship in Pre-Raphaelite Studies is awarded to scholars conducting significant research in the lives and works of the Pre-Raphaelites and their friends, associates, and followers. Yuen is the third recipient of the fellowship.
