10:13 a.m., April 23, 2010----Newark Police are investigating a suspicious package that was discovered in the men's restroom at the Boston Market Restaurant, 1050 South College Ave., in Newark, at 2:37 p.m., Thursday, April 22.

The package was found by an employee, who notified his manager, who then contacted the police and evacuated the area.

Newark Police worked with the Delaware State Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit. The device is believed to have been a hoax and not an actual explosive.

Police are investigating to determine who might have placed the device in the restaurant.
