This film is the second in the 2008-09 series of colloquiums for UD students on the Georgetown campus, with the events coordinated by Nancy Hall, associate professor.

Because of the upcoming election and the desire to reach as many young voters as possible, UD has collaborated with Delaware Tech Student Activities, the Sussex County League of Women Voters and Women Networking in Southern Delaware to jointly sponsor and promote the film. The film sponsors said they hope the film will inspire all students, male and female, to appreciate and exercise the right to vote in the coming election.

Film moderators will be Robin Underhill, UD assistant professor at the UD Academic Center in Georgetown, and Mary Miller, senior counselor at the center. After the film and a discussion period, Women Networking in Southern Delaware will host a reception.

Later in the week, voter registration will take place in the Jason Technology Center on the Owens Campus from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
on Wednesday, Sept. 24, and Thursday, Sept. 25.

For more information, contact Mary Miller at (302) 855-1630.
