The T-shirts have a “UD Epicenter of Politics” logo on the front and the words “Election Central 2008” with a picture of an elephant in red and donkey in blue on the back.

Elizabeth Perse, professor and chairperson of the Department of Communication, explained: “Wearing the T-shirts will be one way that students can celebrate their engagement with the 2008 election.” Perse said that the shirts have the epicenter logo on them because, “Bloomberg News called UD the epicenter of the 2008 election.”

The purpose of the T-shirts, Perse said, is to “remind students to vote and then watch the vote at UD Election Central.”

More T-shirts will be distributed at the Trabant University Center on Friday, Oct. 31, after the Biden rally.
