9:11 a.m., Nov. 3, 2008----The Delaware Undergraduate Student Senate (DUSS) will hold its second meeting of the year at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3, in 127 Memorial Hall. All students are invited to come and be heard.
Sue Bogan, director of Dining Services at UD, will be there to provide updates and news from Dining Services and field general student questions, concerns and comments. In addition, a new resolution regarding UD's People Search online directory feature and its safety and privacy implications will be up for debate and consideration.
The StUDent Government Association (SGA) also will present news and updates on the resolutions passed during last month's DUSS meeting, and the latest group of newly approved Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) will be introduced to the University community.
DUSS is a student-run organization that provides a platform for students to voice concerns, meet other student leaders and prominent administrators and present resolutions for consideration. All University of Delaware students are invited to attend. One representative from each RSO, Complex Community Council, Greek organization, and club sport (respective group's president, or an appointed representative) has voting privileges as a senator.
