10:30 a.m., Oct. 21, 2008----As the University begins its transition to Responsibility-Based Budgeting (RBB), Rob Specter, vice president of finance, Carol Rylee, budget director, and Chris Hudson, RBB coordinator, will be offering two information sessions designed to give employees an overview of this new budgeting system.

The sessions are scheduled for:

  • Friday, Oct. 24, 2-3 p.m., in Multipurpose Room B of the Trabant University Center; and
  • Monday, Oct. 27, 2:30-3:30 p.m., in Multipurpose Room B of the Trabant University Center.

Faculty and staff are invited to attend either of the two sessions to hear about the details of RBB at the University of Delaware. No advance registration is required.

These sessions will answer the following questions:

  • What is RBB?;
  • Why are we implementing this system?;
  • How will it work?;
  • What are the keys to a successful implementation?; and
  • What is the progress to date?

Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend one of these RBB overview presentations.
