The Original Frankenstein is published by Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford, and the podcast features the book launch, which took place Oct. 7 in the Divinity School.

To listen to the podcast, click here and scroll down to "The Original Frankenstein book launch." In addition to Robinson's remarks, you can listen to Sarah Thomas, Bodley's Librarian and director of Oxford University Libraries, and well-known science fiction author Brian Aldiss.

Robinson is the editor of The Original Frankenstein and author of the introduction in the book. The published version of Frankenstein, one of the first works of science fiction, was written by Mary Shelley and amended by her husband, poet Percy Shelley. The Original Frankenstein includes both the published version and another version with Percy Shelley's changes removed, demonstrating for the first time his part in the writing of the book.
