11:53 a.m., Nov. 25, 2008----University of Delaware IT has announced the expansion of the campus cable TV lineup. In addition to new analog channels, the cable system will now broadcast HD versions of all major networks (i.e., ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC and PBS).
Now, popular shows such as Heroes, The Office, Survivor, and NFL football will be available in pure HD quality. The new channels-including the HD channels-will be available to every cable outlet on campus.
New analog cable channels
To view the majority of cable channels, your television must have an NTSC analog tuner. Or, you may use any TiVo or other DVR unit that includes an NTSC analog tuner. The new channels are

To view the new HD channels, your television must have a "clear QAM" digital tuner. Or, you can use a TiVo HD or other HD DVR unit that includes a "clear QAM" digital tuner. Effective Nov. 26, the new HD channels are
