The “UD Very Important Parents,” or VIP program, offers special services and savings to participating families, not only in the hotel but also in local restaurants, shops and attractions.

Developed with the assistance of Kathy Wheatley in the Office of Communications & Marketing and a team of UD hotel, restaurant and institutional management students, this free program has already signed up more than 150 families.

Bill Sullivan, managing director of the hotel, said, “We are so excited to offer this very special promotion to the parents of our UD students. We have engaged our hotel team and local merchants to come up with a great program for our very important parents. I hope all parents will join and enjoy the additional services and discounts that our program offers.”

Members will receive discounts for hotel guest rooms, dining and other services, as well as discounts at local restaurants, shops and attractions. All the items are updated weekly on the [www.udel.edu.hotel/vip] site.
