The HealthyU Employee Wellness Center's Passport to Health program will take participants on a whirlwind imaginary journey around the world. The program will guide you toward increasing physical activity levels and improving eating habits while you experience the culture and history of different countries around the globe.

The program begins July 6 and runs through Aug. 16, and the cost is $15 Wellness Dollars.

During the six-week "excursion,” participants will have physical activity goals in addition to an optional nutrition challenge, and will have opportunities to answer weekly trivia questions. Those who accumulate at least 30 minutes of daily activity on at least 30 of the days during the six weeks will receive a string bag that is perfect for future travels.

Participants who register by the Thursday, June 25, deadline will receive:

  • A passport log to help your track your progress;
  • Weekly e-mails with destination information and health tips;
  • Access to weekly articles, resources, games and trivia; and
  • A chance to win the grand prize of a $200 travel voucher co-sponsored by UNIGLOBE Travel Partners and the HealthyU Employee Wellness Program.

“You don't have to be a competitive athlete or nutrition expert to benefit from the Passport to Health program,” a HealthyU representative said. “Whether you are thinking about becoming more active, eating healthier or already practicing these good habits, you are the perfect passenger for this trip.”

Registration can be completed by logging on at this Web site. Again, the registration deadline is Thursday, June 25.
