2:43 p.m., Dec. 17, 2008----The University of Delaware will hold its U.S. National Figure Skating Send-Off Exhibition at 5 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Fred Rust Ice Arena, South College Avenue, in Newark.
The send-off will feature Shaun Rogers, silver medalist at the 2008 Finlandia Trophy competition, and Emmanuel Savary, winner of the 2009 U.S. intermediate men's national championship, along with other members of the University's 2009 National Team.
Tickets for the gala exhibition cost $15 for adults and $12 for students, senior citizens and University of Delaware faculty and staff.
Tickets are available at the University of Delaware box offices and through Ticketmaster.
All seats are general admission and the doors will open at 4 p.m.
The annual send-off exhibition, held in advance of nationals, highlights skaters who compete for the University of Delaware Figure Skating Club and train at the University's Ice Skating Science Development Center.

The 2009 U.S. Figure Skating Championships will be held Jan.18-25 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
