Transfer Course Equivalencies at the University of Delaware

Use the Undergraduate Transfer Credit Matrix to check if courses(s) taken at another college/university are currently approved by academic departments to receive UD transfer credit. Start by selecting the location of the school that issues the transcript, then choose the name of the institution. If you do not see the location or school in the dropdowns, email the name/address/website to transfercredit@udel.edu, and we will confirm if it meets UD's transfer credit requirements.

Matrix entries can change at any time, as course content changes at UD & other schools. The Matrix is not a guarantee, but it is a great planning tool.

The Matrix only applies for courses taken in the past 7 years, as curricula can change. If you took a course more than 7 years ago, it will initially earn 166T elective credit, then need departmental review. Ask your school for a syllabus from the year that you took the course, then follow Step 3 on our "How To" page to send it to an academic department.

If you took a course as part of a completed Articulation Agreement, you'll receive the UD courses in the agreement, which may differ a bit from what is in the Matrix today. Check your agreement for details.

See our step-by-step instructions about How to Transfer Credit to UD. For questions about transfer credit issues, email transfercredit@udel.edu. For questions about applying to UD (application materials, admissions requirements, receipt of materials), check the Undergraduate Admissions website and email admissions@udel.edu or transfers@udel.edu (transfer applicants only).
