Layout of Grades File

The layout for each line of your grade file must be --

       UD student identification number    letter grade    name

The starting and ending location of each field does not matter so long as the UD student identification number appears first, the letter grade second and the student name last. Be sure you have not omitted any field for any student. Here is an example containing 4 students --

          000111000 A- EARHART, AMELIA
          011111111 C+ HAWTHORNE, NATHANIEL
          121212121 B- DU BOIS, W.E.B.
          123456789 C- DA VINCI, LEONARDO

This program matches students in your roster file to students in your grade file by comparing UD student identification numbers, so be sure you have the correct UD student identification numbers in your grade file.
