It's our 40th Anniversary!

S.O.S. was officially recognized by the Dean of Students and began offering services to the UD campus in 1976! Our alumni flew home to the Hen House to celebrate with current advocates at our 40th Anniversary Reunion on June 4th, during UD Alumni Weekend. Photos & highlights coming soon!


S.O.S. - Sexual Offense Support

Sexual Offense Support is a volunteer organization providing support and advocacy to survivors of all forms of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking, as well as educating the University of Delaware community on these topics. Learn how a Victim Advocate can help!

S.O.S. is made up of undergraduate and graduate student volunteers, staff and community volunteers. S.O.S. is a program of Student Wellness & Health Promotion on campus. What is Victim Advocacy?

An S.O.S. Victim Advocate can provide 24/7 crisis assistance for anyone in the UD community:

To reach the SOS Victim Advocate on duty 24 hours/day call 302-831-2226. The Student Health Service staff member who answers will take a first name and phone number and the S.O.S. Victim Advocate will call you back within 10 minutes.

Students may make an appointment for services at Student Wellness by calling 302-831-3457 during normal business hours. You will need to provide your real name to set up the appointment, and complete paperwork at your first visit.
