Configuring Your Microsoft
Internet Explorer Browser

1.                  Go to the Internet Properties of your browser by one of the two following ways:

    • First way: Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon, and click on Properties.

    • Second way: Double-click to open Internet Explorer.  On the menu bar, click on Tools, then Internet Options…

2.  Click on the Connections tab, then click on the LAN Settings… button.

  1. Under Proxy Server, click to put a check in Use a proxy server. 

    In the Address textbox type wwwproxy.k12.de.us
    In the Port textbox type 8080


  2. Click the OK button on the LAN Settings window, and OK again on the Internet Options window.

  3. Make sure your computer is physically connected to the network jack, and you should be ready to jump on the Internet!  (if you have problems, restart your computer)
