  1. Digital Technology Policy -- Olivia

  2. From members --
    • PLE
      • How many meetings are we supposed to have in a month? Since my schedule is so different from the teachers, I will find it harder to assist/train teachers during the school day and will have to hold after school sessions. After school sessions are not always attended well and I am wondering if I may get “relief” time to have a floating day once a month to be available to help teachers learn new technology during their meeting times. It would require a substitute teacher. If not once a month, then maybe every other month?
      • Hold a video conference of a children's literature author and invite other teachers so that they can see the possibilities
    • AGI *
      • We need time to explore, learn, and be taught how to use the resources we already have- smart boards for example. Maybe a half day once a marking period?
*We can't help teachers if we don't know how to use the equipment ourselves!!!
      • We want to push using the new Dell carts, possibly create a quick reference guide
    • FEMS -- new Cyber Cafe
    • AGHS
      • Get my Linksys into the ceiling to finish the wireless system for my Tablet PC (Brady)
      • The 10 new department issued LCD projectors with carts - need proper power strips installed
      • Sent an e-mail to staff reminding people of things they needed to fix in IGPro fo it to work properly and that e-mail reminded the staff that we were here to help them
      • Updated ITLT brochure and distributed the brochure to all mailboxes and put extras in the Faculty Mailroom

  3. TechMentoring -- Joyce
