Services Conference will be held at the Richmond--the capital of Virginia--is a historic city known for Church Hill, where in 1775, Patrick Henry inspired his fellow Virginians with the famous words, "I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!" Located on the James River, Richmond is nationally recognized for accessible whitewater rapids in its downtown area. The city has many tourist attractions and is also well situated as a base to other major tourist attractions. Richmond is located within one hour of Colonial Williamsburg to the east and Charlottesville to the west, where you can tour the Blue Ridge Mountains, the University of Virginia, and Monticello (Thomas Jeffersons home). Richmond on the James Travel to RichmondRichmond International Airport (RIC) is served by eight airlines. Amtrak also serves Richmond. The OMNI Hotel does not provide free shuttle service to the Hotel. However, you can use the "Groome" shuttle to get to the Hotel. This service is less expensive than a taxi. Richmond is also located at the intersection of Interstate Highways 64 and 95. Travelers may consider flying into Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), Washington National Airport (DCA), or Newport News Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) and renting a car.
