Well, to be perfectly honest, I don't know a lot about my cultural background. I do know that my mother's side of the family is Irish, very Irish. They believe in having lots of children, in fact, my mom's Aunt Dee has nine children of her own and approximately thirty grandchildren. I have always known their family to be very friendly and to have "family values" that are quite different from other families that I know. There can never be too many people in their house; Christmas there is truly something. The Irish are a very neat class of people; they are people that I believe getting to know better would be quite worth my while. In fact, they would probably be a good idea for my poster project coming up later in the semester!

I don't know too much about my father's side of the family. His family is from Laurel, Delaware which is where my family lives now. In all actuality, the residents of Laurel are almost a separate culture themselves. It's a very small town filled with lots of farmers. Practically everyone in the town knows one another; it's really a neat place to live!
