My father's side of my family came to America in 1889 where they resided in St. Maurice, Louisiana. They were originally from France. When I was young (about 7 yrs. old), my father used to tell me about something called French Creole. I didn't make much out of this at that time but I've since come to the conclusion that this is very unique. As far as I know there is not many African-Americans that had French blood in them. I am very greatful to be one of what I think is very few people on earth. My mother's side of the family originated in Africa. She was one of 4 children. This is significant because every male in her family dating back 7 generations had exactly four children in their families (neat, isn't it?).
My favorite relative is my aunt Eve. I don't know why she is my favorite relative. I guess she just has that certain thing you just can't seem to put your finger on.
