As editors of this on-line newspaper, we welcome you to "Del-Aware." The goal of this newspaper is to make you, the readers, aware of some of the cultural activities at your disposal and some of the cultural issues that you are faced with. We hope that it will benefit not only the students at the University of Delaware, but also future and current teachers.

The articles within this newspaper have been prepared by the students of EDST 258(section 10), Cultural Diversity, Schooling, and the Teacher. Throughout this semester the students have become more aware of community activities with related multi-cultural issues that will help them to promote cultural awareness in their future classrooms.

We hope that you will find "Del-Aware" enjoyable and informative. Furthermore, we hope that it will prove to be beneficial to you in your own classroom activities.
