On my mother's side, her grandmother (her mother's mother) was born in England and her mother's father was born in Wales. My mother's father was born in Wales. My mother's mother (my grandmother0 was the youngest of five children. She was the only sibling of the five born in the United States, the others born in England. My mother's father's (my grandfather) mother's parents were Pennsylvania Dutch, as their daughter (my grandfather's mother). My mother's father's father was of Irish and German descent. My mother's mother was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and my mother's father, as well as herself, were born in Cecil County, Maryland, where I live.

On my father's side, his mother's mother's mother was part Cherokee Indian from North Carolina. My father's mother's mother was also born in North Carolina and has some Cherokee ancestory. Her daughter (my grandmother) was born in Pennsylvania. My father's mother's father was part English through his parents and was born in WEst Jefferson, North Carolina. My father's father's mother and father were Pennsylvania Dutch. My father's father (my grandfather) was born in Pennsylvania. My father was born in Cecil County, Maryland.
