Something interesting about my family heritage is that both of my grandparents on my mothers side were in the Holocaust. All of their family members were killed except for the both of them. My grandmother knew a nurse that kept putting her number at the end of a list and my grandfather played the violin for the soldiers to keep them entertained. Otherwise they too would have probably been killed as well. My grandparents met because they were both in the same concentration camp. I personally was named after my grandfathers first daughter which was killed. I really value my relationship between myself and my grandparents.
