Kimberley M. Wall

Very little is known about my cultural heritage. There is no glamorized tale of a twelve month voyage from a distant land, although I assume that trip indeed took place very long ago. Historically, the surname, Wall, was said to have originated from Ireland following the twelfth century Anglo-Norman invasion. Yet the only proof I have of Irish decent is a speckling of freckles that only makes itself apparent in the summer months of the year. Possibly of greater interest, however, may be the nationality of my great-great maternal grand-mother. A full-blooded Cherokee Indian, she was partially responsible for possessing the stereotypical facial characteristics which have been prevalent in my family for generations.
Despite the apparent lack of knowledge I possess regarding my own personal heritage, I have been fortunate enough to experience different cultures through travel. In addition to various vacations, I lived in Europe for a number of years and visited many exciting and interesting lands.
