What I enjoy the most about my culture comes from my mothers side of the family. My mothers relatives came from Southern Italy about one hundred years ago, but they still have very strong Itallian traditions. One of the most important things in my family is strong family ties. We have a family reunion every year so everone can get together from my entire family can get together. Even though my entire family only gets together once a year, my immediate family gets together on all of the holidays. This family togetherness means a great deal to me. My mother always made sure that we always had dinner together so we could share the days happenings. The culture of my mothers Itallian heritage has been one of the most important things in my life.
