UD Day of Service is a yearly tradition when residence hall complexes and various campus partners, Registered Student Organizations, and outside service agencies come together to offer several service projects for students to participate and become connected with service agencies with whom they may want to continue serving. This year marks the seventh annual UD Day of Service!
This year, UD Day of service will partner with the exciting Student Centers Perkins Live! late-night weekend initiative. We will have 25+ tables with activities to complete benefitting a variety of service organizations such as the B+ Foundation, Newark Hospice, The Friendship House, Boys and Girls Club, and more!
There will also be opportunities to connect with service RSOs and organizations to participate in service throughout the year. We will even have several opportunities for reflection through art!
There will be spots for 150 students to participate in a guided painting by Painting Parties! Students can get a wristband to participate from the Perkins Help Desk, and enjoy the rest of UD Day of Service until the painting starts! Participation is on a first come first serve basis.

Refreshments and Snacks
Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Pepsi and Aramark. There will also be ice cream, and other snacks provided in select locations.
There will be giveaways for participating in various service activities, while supplies last! This year’s items include tech-stickers, sunglasses, water bottles, and journals!
Continue to serve through a service trip into the local Newark/Wilmington community. Join us as we help celebrate the Boys and Girls Club Community Day and celebrate their park opening! UD students will help run and facilitate various Minute to Win It games, field day games, and interact with children and families.
Sign up today! Space is limited and the trip will be filled on a first-come priority basis.
