My Housing portal is your one-stop shop for all of your housing assignment needs, including:

  • Housing Application
Apply to live on campus as a first year, returning, or graduate student. Various application periods include: academic year, spring semester, summer, and winter.
  • Interim Housing
Current residents may apply to stay on campus when the residence halls are officially closed. Interim housing encompasses: Thanksgiving Holiday, time between sessions during the winter and summer, or Spring Break. Also included are applications for early arrivals at the start of the semester or late departures at the end of the semester.
  • Request for Release
Students living on campus are required to adhere to the Academic Year Housing Contract (think of it as a lease) and cancellation date. Students may request to be released from the contract or cancel their housing under specific circumstances using the Request for Release form.
  • Room Change
Students may request to change rooms at various times during the year. They may work with our staff to identify a space during the semester for a Mid-Semester Room Change. In August prior to Fall move-in or between semesters, students can use the Find a Vacancy or Mutual Room Exchange room change options independently.
  • Resident Assistant Application
Apply to be a Resident Assistant using the on-line application.

To log in to the portal, use your UDelNetID username and password (the first part of your UD email address and associated password). The My Housing link is located in the top right corner of every Residence Life & Housing webpage.

Prior to applying to live on-campus, familiarize yourself with the Student Housing Contract.
