Please note that room change periods are tentative and might not be offered every semester.
Students who move from one hall or room type to a different hall or room type will be charged the published rate for the new space from the effective date of move-in.
If you want to move during the semester, you, the student, should initiate the Mid-Semester Room Change process by speaking to your Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC). You should expect to discuss why you're requesting a move and your preferences for a new location.
When the meeting is successfully completed, log into the My Housing portal and you'll see the Mid-Semester Room Change form. Indicate the new room and building you want to move to, based on your discussion with your Residence Hall Coordinator.
We'll notify you by email whether your request has been approved or denied. If your request is approved, you'll receive instructions on picking up a key for your new space.
At that point, you need to make arrangements with your new Residence Hall Coordinator to pick up your new key, and arrange to return your key to your current Residence Hall Coordinator.
You must move within 48 hours of room change notification.
