As the Housing Systems Coordinator I maintain the system that keeps housing assignments as well as key and billing information. I also maintain housing and break applications on the My Housing portal. I organize assignment procedures and liaise with other departments on campus, such as Disability Support Services, Athletics, English Language Institute, Office for International Students and Scholars, Honor and others to ensure student needs are met. I organize early check-in and break housing. I supervise the Assignments Specialist, who handles hand placements. I also report on housing statistics and scenarios.
Although we encourage students to speak to their Resident Assitant, Residence Hall Coordinator/Hall Director or Area/Complex Coordinator, I am happy to assist in housing concerns.
For 10 years I managed a couple of businesses in the Wilmington, Delaware area. I have done everything from working behind the counter to training employees, marketing, accounting, and overseeing the opening of new stores.
I interned at PBS WHYY gathering news stories for the evening news. Upon graduating from UD, I worked as a Production Assistant on multiple film sets in Philadelphia.
I returned to UD as a Financial Processing Assistant and then a Procurement Advocate for the College of Engineering where I managed department credit cards and other financial related processes.
I truly enjoy working with students in my current position at UD as the Housing Systems Coordinator.

UD has been a big part of my life. I earned my BA, met my husband, earned my MBA and am building my career all at UD! I am the proud mom of two little boys.
