Council Purpose

• The purpose of this Council is to assist the Advisory Committee in the oversight of the University’s business needs with a focus on strategic initiatives that will have meaningful impact across the entire institution.
• The Council will provide the overall direction and ensure that strategic, operational, financial, and compliance related issues regarding how we conduct procurement related business at the University of Delaware and being address on an ongoing basis.

Committee Purpose

• The purpose of the Committee is to aid the Council in carrying out its function to assist the University of Delaware Board of Trustees and the Department of Finance in the ongoing oversight and integration University business practices including purchasing, payments, and related compliance.
• Develop detailed policies and procedures as well as identify mission critical initiatives that will continue to add value to our staff, faculty, and ultimately our students.
