How Long Is The Bubblegum Chain?

Before I can answer this question, I feel that first I should answer a more relevant question for those not in the know. Namely, "what is the bubblegum chain?" The bubblegum chain is a chain constructed of paper "links" that are fashioned from the wrappers of chewing gum. As a purist, I only use Carefree wrappers.

The chain hangs from the ceiling in my little corner of the office. Come back and look at it whenever you feel like it. If you're really nice, I might even show you how to start making one!

Oh, and just so you all know, it's currently in the neighborhood of 12 feet in length.
