Minutes August 8, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 2:35 p.m.

The June 14, 2007 minutes were approved as written.

Old Business
Mr. DiMauro asked if there is anything new regarding the level 9 salaried staff position. Dr. Colm responded that everything is in place. Mr. Holland checked with Christine Ulrich, Manager, Office of Human Resources and was informed that additional information can be found at the following -

Constituent Concerns
Ms. Hallís constituent inquired as to why the University can not have a better filter/fire wall to avoid junk mail. Ms. RoBison suggested the use of Web Mail or Mozilla and to use the filtering system there.

Mr. DiMauro noted that there are wasps in the ground near the Facilities KeyBox at the corner of Academy and Lovett Streets. It was suggested that he contact pest control to report it.

Ms. Hadden informed the group that a cross walk at Clayton Hall was not installed correctly being that the curb cuts are not directly adjacent to each other. Mr. Holland has asked Karen Mancini, ADA Coordinator to look into this.

Mr. Holland told the group that Dr. Harker will be attending the October 10th SSAC meeting from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 2:55 p.m.
