Dear University Community,

The search committee has completed its initial round of interviews and is pleased to report that the search has attracted an exceptionally strong and accomplished pool of candidates.

As we move into this next phase of the search, maintaining confidentiality remains critically important. Candidates at this level often cannot participate in a search unless their interest can be kept confidential. Finalists will meet with a broad cross-section of the UD community, and feedback from those interactions will help inform the committee’s work. Individuals who participate in finalist meetings will be asked to uphold the same confidentiality expectations as the search committee so that candidates can engage fully in the process.

We are grateful for the continued engagement and support of the University community throughout this process and look forward to identifying the next Provost who will help advance the University of Delaware’s mission and aspirations.
