The annual Benefits and Wellness Fair will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Trabant University Center from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Express Scripts 2017 Formulary Updates

The Human Resources Benefits Office wants to remind employees of changes to the 2017 prescription drug formulary through Express Scripts.

Previously excluded drugs that will return to the formulary for 2017: Edarbi/Edarbyclor, Teveten HCT (Nonpreferred); Xeljanz/Xeljanz XR (Preferred); Arnuity Ellipta and Flovent Diskus/HFA (Preferred).

New exclusions for 2017: Zyclara, Orencia, Kineret, Taltz, and Colchicine. For a complete list of drug exclusions for 2017 with preferred alternatives, visit http://ben.omb.delaware.gov/script/documents/formulary-exclusions-010117.pdf.

Tier changes for 2017 from Preferred to Nonpreferred: Differin, Fordail, Oxtellar, and Riomet.

Impacted members of exclusions and tier changes should have received notification to their home from the Statewide Benefits Office.

Change to EOB Delivery

Benefited employees enrolled on a health plan through Aetna will no longer automatically receive paper Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) effective January 1, 2017, if the claims are for services covered in full or if the responsibility is a copayment paid at the time of service. Visit http://www.ben.omb.delaware.gov/medical/aetna to learn more, including how to receive electronic EOB notifications. As a reminder, Highmark implemented similar changes in July 2016 for members. Highmark members can visit http://www.ben.omb.delaware.gov/medical/bcbs to learn more.

Universal Availability (403b retirement Savings Plan)

As a reminder we are approaching our July 1, 2017 transition moving to TIAA as our single administrative service provider. Please take time to review our Retirement Program Transition webpage for more information, including a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions and key dates.

All employees, other than student employees, are eligible to participate in the 403(b) plan. You can find the enrollment form here.

Representatives from TIAA and Fidelity are regularly on-campus for one on one counseling sessions. Please click on the vendor name for scheduled times and to make an appointment.
