Graduates, don't be late for your own graduation.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 31, and it's important that graduates and their guests allow time to go through airport-style magnetometers.

Students are asked to arrive at 6 a.m., and no later than 7 a.m., in order to get through security in a timely manner and line up for the procession. You will line up on the football practice fields behind the Delaware Field House and will be able to enter this area from both the east and the west. See the map below for entry points.

Graduates will begin processing into Delaware Stadium at 8 a.m.

For guests, the gates to Delaware Stadium will open at 6 a.m. and attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive between 6-7:30 a.m. to get through the lines at the security checkpoints well in advance of the ceremony.

Attendees should understand that most bags -- including handbags -- will not be allowed into the stadium unless absolutely necessary. Cell phones, smart phones and small cameras are permitted. No umbrellas, sharp objects, bottles, or liquids will be allowed into the stadium. To see a more detailed list of prohibited items, visit the special Commencement F.A.Q. on our web site.

Please be aware that there may be delays with traffic and long lines to enter the stadium.
