Overview

The Manhattan Poster Project '96 is a poster session hosted by graduate students to promote interaction between experimental and theoretical physical chemistry graduate students and post-docs. This conference began in 1991 at Columbia University, and has since been hosted by Boston University, University of Pennsylvania, and Georgetown University. In 1996, the Manhattan Poster Project was hosted by the University of Delaware on Friday, November 1 in the newly constructed E. Arthur Trabant University Center.

The 1996's event included a Keynote Speaker, an ACS Career Workshop on Effective Job Searching, Employment Outlook and Job Security, and a Job Fair in addition to the Poster Session.

Previous participants have found this conference to be an excellent opportunity to meet other researchers within their field and to form valuable contacts and friendships.
