Search Tools
People have begun to tame the web is by developing tools to search for
information throughout the Web. Each of these search tools create indices
of information by constantly searching the Web for new entries. When a
user asks for information, the search is made in the index and the user
can then link to an appropriate site on the Web. Some of the most popular

Math and Science

The Cornell Theory
Center Math and Science Gateway provides links to resources in mathematics
and science for students in grades 9-12.

Jet Propulsion Lab will get you
to information and pictures from the Pathfinder mission.

The Eisenhower National Clearinghouse
(ENC) is an information source for K-12 math and science.

If you are a student in elementary, middle, or high school, you can pose
questions to "Ask Dr. Math." All letters are answered by members of "The
Swat Team," math students and professors at Swarthmore College. "Ask Dr.
Math" is a project of the Math
Forum, an NSF-funded program housed at Swarthmore College. Write

MegaMath offers a number
of mathematical concepts and activities.

The Geometry Center at the University
of Minnesota includes a variety of activities and lessons including interactive
demonstrations.
