Overview:

In this wave module, a curvilinear parabolic approximation is made in order to relax the wave angle limitations from parabolic approximations made in the previous REF/DIF models. The covariant-contravariant tensor method is used for the approximation in which curvilinear coordinate lines are chosen approximately along the predominant wave propagation directions. The module includes all the features existing in the REF/DIF 1 model, such as the current effect on waves, wave dissipation caused by wave breaking or bottom friction and non-linear dispersion.

The code is going to be standardized as one of optional wave modules in NearCoM.
