into WP.
- If the document is included in a mail message (ASCII file):
- While in Pine, looking at the Index or reading
a message, type S to save the message.
- When prompted for a folder, type a filename (e.g.,
sentmsg.doc) and press ENTER.
- Using a file transfer program such as Kermit
or FTP, download the file to your hard drive or a disk. In this
example, the complete filename will be mail/sentmsg.doc
- If a WP document is attached to a mail message (binary file):
- While in Pine, looking at the Index or
reading a message, type V to view the
attached files.
- Using the arrow keys, move the highlighted bar to the
attached
filename and type S to save.
- When prompted, type a filename (e.g., sentmsg.wp)
and press ENTER.
- Type E to exit the Viewer.
- Using a file transfer program such as Kermit
or FTP, download the file filename to your hard drive or a disk. In
this example, the complete filename will be sentmsg.wp since
attached files are, by default, stored in your home directory.
