The information on class mailing lists is on the Web at

http://www.udel.edu/topics/e-mail/maillist/classlist.html

Term Codes for the Semesters

    F=Fall

The information about class mailing lists can be found off of the Help Center's main web page. Follow these links: Under topics: E-mail --> Class Mailing Lists Here's the information: ========================================================================= Class Mailing Lists ======================================================================== Mailing lists are available for every course section in the previous, current, and next terms. These lists can be accessed by sending a message to a mailing list address which is constructed from the course sequence number. The syntax of the mailing list name is as follows: the three or four character department code the three digit course number a hyphen the three digit section number a hyphen the term code @udel.edu For example, the mailing list to send a message to every student registered for section 100 of CISC 105 during the 1997 Spring term would be: CISC105-100-97S@udel.edu Term Codes for the Semesters F=Fall W=Winter S=Spring J=Summer Class Mailing List Recipients All students officially registered for a particular course are automatically added to the class mailing lists. Class mailing lists are updated daily. Also, the faculty who are registered to teach the course will be added to the class mailing list. Faculty will then be aware of a student in their class who might send out a mass mailing, and can deal with that. Kate ====================================================================== M.
