LaTeX UDThesis Styles for Graduate Theses and Dissertations

To get started, click to download the LaTeX UDThesis Guidelines.

Note: All LaTeX heading styles are numbered decimally within chapters.

1. For all degrees:
   • Download the common base files (udthesis-base-files.zip) and extract (unzip) the contents. This will create the directory or folder called udthesis-base-files.
   • Download UDThesis Class (udthesis.cls) and copy into the udthesis-base-files directory or folder.
2. Download both the main.tex and tap.tex base files for the appropriate degree and copy them into the udthesis-base-files directory or folder.
   • Dissertation
     • example (PDF)
     • dissertation-main.tex (base file)
     • dissertation-tap.tex (base file)
   • Master's Thesis
     • example (PDF)
     • thesis-main.tex (base file)
     • thesis-tap.tex (base file)
