Professer Antonio Luque

Professor Antonio Luque, Director of the Institute of Solar Energy of the Technical University of Madrid, Spain, has been awarded the 2015 Karl W. Böer Award for his invention of the intermediate band solar cell, which raises the theoretical solar efficiency limit up to 63 percent.
