Title of Major Research/Research Interest:
I am very much interested in how people learn science, and how science as a process is assimilated. I am also interested in the practical aspects of research of this
type. What worked and how it works need to be taken into the classroom. As a potential member of a physics department at a small college or at a university with the
possibility of association with a college of education, I plan to establish and maintain a strong emphasis on teaching as a tool to recruit undergraduates into graduate
work. I also plan to maintain professional partnerships with my precollege colleagues. This partnership will facilitate student transition from precollege to college-level
work.
