The University of Delaware New Graduate StUDent Connect Program is an integral part of your transition to UD as a graduate student. Ambassadors in the “Connect” program are much more than campus tour guides---they are a diverse group of highly motivated, energetic, well-spoken and friendly students that act as the official representatives of the University. These ENTHUSIASTIC students provide outreach to newly admitted students by answering questions about UD and promoting the latest advances and achievements of the University and its graduate students. We feel the best way to build and strengthen new relationships is through the graduate students themselves. The Graduate Student Ambassadors are responsible for connecting potential and new students and their families to the University community, answering questions about the University and life as a graduate student, and promoting the latest advances and achievements of our graduate students. The Ambassadors work directly with the Office of Graduate and Professional Education as well as various college departments in order to serve as a public relations and institutional advancement team.
I invite you to experience the “Connect” program and its mentorship by the Graduate Student Ambassadors—a meaningful way to transition into your new experiences as a master’s or doctoral student!
