Arab journalist
Rami Khouri is a Palestinian-Jordanian and US citizen whose family resides in Beirut (Lebanon), Amman (Jordan), and Nazareth (the West Bank). He is executive editor of the Beirut-based Daily Star newspaper, published throughout the Middle East with the International Herald Tribune. He is an internationally syndicated political columnist and book author, and was previously editor-in-chief of the Jordan Times for seven years.

Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger has been Germany's diplomat in Washington since 2001. He previously was special assistant to two German Foreign Ministers, and through the 1990's served on Germany's delegations of several international negotiations on EU enlargement and the Bosnia and Kosovo crises.

Rajiv Chandrasekaran was Baghdad Bureau Chief for The Washington Post for 18 months, ending in the fall of 2004. He covered the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq, filing more than 130 front-page stories in 2003 alone and supervising dozens of Washington Post staffers covering the war. He is believed to have spent more time in Iraq in 2003 than any other American journalist.

William Martel has conducted research for the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the National Reconnaissance Office, the Office of Secretary of Defense, U.S. Air Force Space Command, and other agencies on a wide range of technological and policy issues. He also teaches courses on defense technology and policy analysis at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston. He is Professor of National Security Affairs, Director of the defense analysis course, and Alan Shepherd Chair of Space Technology and Policy, at the U.S. Naval War College, and was previously Associate Professor of International Relations and founder and Director, Center for Strategy and Technology, at the U.S. Air War College.
