The University of Delaware offers programs that are internationalizing our campus and our outlook, while enriching our community and forging ever-stronger partnerships in global research and education.

The IGS coordinates and helps sponsor a broad range of initiatives focusing on multicultural education, from the U.S. State Department-funded National Security Institute, which brings together policy specialists from around the world to UD to learn more about U.S. foreign and national security policy, to the Middle East Partnership Initative (MEPI) program, which welcomes students from the Middle East and North Africa to UD during the summer to learn about American culture through classroom and community service activities. Additionally, the IGS helps host expert panels on global topics, lectures by visiting scholars, and many other activities throughout the year, working with partners across campus and beyond.
