Join us for a month-long celebration of all things global at UD to coincide with to coincide with International Education Week, an initiative sponsored by the U.S. Departments of State and Education.  From study abroad programs to concerts, speakers, coffee hours, post-grad opportunities, and more, we've got a world of options for you… and most are free!

International Education Week

November 13-17

International Education Week (IEW) is a joint initiative for the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and provide an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. UD observes IEW through a variety of events highlighting music, dance, fashion, film, lectures, food, and more of cultures throughout the world.

  2. Swap out your profile picture with a shot showing your international travels or your culture
  3. Participate in the global conversation by including #IEW2017 or #UDGlobalMonth in your posts.




Global Month is a University of Delaware initiative led by the Institute for Global Studies in collaboration with the Office for International Students & Scholars, The Confucius Institute, Center for Global & Area Studies, English Language Institute, Athletics & Recreation, Career Services Center, Residence Life & Housing, Student Centers, University Library and countless UD departments and organizations.
